A bit about myself; I write to entertain, I write about your smile, your laughter, your tears and the unknown. Once you close the cover, the characters remain with you. I'm presently writing a trilogy, my bio . . . it appears I've lived too much life. It will be in both French and English. I was born in a small farm house in the Canadian Appalachians. Although picturesque, it lacked simple modern trappings; plumbing and electricity. I remember sleeping curled up in my straw bed, listening to the wind crying in the white of winter, sleigh bells and the mare who wore them like fine jewelry, an itchy horse blanket, blades of cold that nipped at my face. In springtime, I waded in stream with pollywogs. Summer days smelled sweet and in the darkness, I captured ideas like fireflies in glass jars. Nature’s seasonal performances entertained me but before I knew it, it was gone. My mother died, my father remarried and we immigrated to the United States. I married, raised four wonderful children and was blessed with eight grandchildren. I performed volunteer work with teens, victims of sexual abuse, court ordered males. I earned a Masters Degree from Rhode Island College and worked as a psychotherapist until I launched my writing career. I live in Rhode Island with my husband, my family and my friends are never far. I often return to the Mountains, it’s where dreams were born, where the characters in my novels to come alive. Be amazed . . . www.justsayingit.info . . .
