I have the pleasure of being able to keep busy in my shop after hours, making a variety of wooden gifts and toys, which I find very rewarding to make. I am hoping to bring some healthy fun into the lives of small children through the experience of playing with old fashioned wooden toys from the past! We enjoy an abundance of high quality soft and hard woods here in Canada. Pine, oak, maple, ash and cherry (all types of fruit woods) are arguably the finest woods available for making quality furniture, and they‘re all found right here. I try to recycle (cut offs, and fallen trees) to make the most of my toys and gifts. All the finishing we are using are environmentally friendly and non toxic. You always have the choice for finished or unfinished Toys and gifts in case you want to finish it yourself.
