Aamco Transmission

The manager James uses gender specific language when he talks to females. He utilizes there ignorance of cars to make sales. He convinced me to replace a clutch and brakes to keep my family safe. I asked him how the engine was because I was concerned putting a lot of $$ into an old car. He said, Honey don't worry the engine is fine. The engine codes won't tell you that the car is going to die... Further more the quote he gave me was a lie. He told me only some clutches need to be machined. In fact, all clutches need to be machined and that was an extra $300. He did not tell me about. Within three weeks my car died. It turned out the car was only running on one cylinder. It is unjust to install brand new clutch and brakes on a car with on cylinder. I paid $1600 to Aamco. I'm the fool for trusting this man... But you should not….. I would never recommend this shop to anyone. James is a sneaky sales man that takes advantage of people that don't know a lot about cars. Especially females!!!
