Photography is many things to me.
It keeps me clear and focused, when everything in life appears cloudy. It fills my heart and mind with inspiration, passion and anticipation of "what could be." It challenges me until I am pushed to the edge, pulls me back and then challenges me again. Most of all, photography has given me the true gift of experiencing the world with a fresh and unique perspective — one that I can’t wait to share. I love the abstract. I strive to grasp the everyday moments and objects in the world, be it the beauty of nature or the magnitude of architecture that surrounds us. I’m fascinated by texture, layers, contrast and colour — all of which are abundant in my work. I capture what I see and present it in the way in which it naturally appears to me. As a wife and mom of two in bustling Toronto, I’m grateful to have a craft that allows me to step away from the chaos and create something that inspires me.
