Description

My name is Heather MacPherson and I hold a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Victoria.
My passion lies in assisting individuals to live their lives to their fullest potential. I believe that cultivating a safe space for individuals to explore their lives, and creating a strong therapeutic relationship are the first and foremost important factors in the counselling process. I have several years of experience working with people in a variety of capacities: in outpatient, inpatient, residential, and day treatment mental health facilities, in schools, and in the community. I have supported children, youth, adults, and seniors who struggle with symptoms of a variety of life trials such as depression, anxiety, OCD, anorexia, bulimia, EDNOS, over eating difficulties, borderline personality traits, developmental disabilities, and PTSD.
