I am a retired certified teacher and psychologist with many years of teaching and tutoring experience.
I am a specialist in teaching children with learning disabilities. I teach reading, writing, spelling, and math for kindergarten to Grade 6 children. I tutor both children and adults who are new at learning English. I can help improve and provide practice with language conversation, I can teach reading, writing, and grammar. I can teach international students how to write a well-constructed essay. I offer lessons for preschool children to assist with language development and vocabulary. Interactive story book reading is used to stimulate language. I use Lindamood-Bell methods which are like Orton-Gillingham methods for children with dyslexia.
