I believe that we all have the capacity to define and create the experience we want, regardless of the barriers we may face. Sometimes the difficulties of our past or the future may seem too daunting, or maybe we tend to dismiss the impact of our own struggles. No matter how intense or small we think our troubles are, we all deserve the life that we desire.
As a registered psychologist, I believe what lies at the root of most of our struggle is uncertainty in our sense of self. Whether through a difficult childhood, traumatic experiences, or more recent events, our belief in ourselves and our place in the world can often be altered. If we can regain our sense of self, or even define it for the first time, we then have a place to start living our fullest potential. Perhaps we start setting boundaries, speaking up, standing in our truth, and being okay with vulnerability. I believe that each individual is unique and a one-size-fits-all approach may not help us reach our full potential. We will work together to address the concerns that are a result of your own experiences and the path that you see for your future.
