As a therapist and a parent, I understand how difficult it can be to watch your child struggle. Our natural instinct as parents is to help our children, however, without a road-map – these attempts often leave us running around in circles, feeling overwhelmed, exhausted and guilty that we don’t have all the answers. Therapy can be the road-map that helps you and your child reconnect with each other and work together to achieve a happy, balanced life. For over 10 years, I have been working with youth, helping them find their own solutions to the obstacles and roadblocks preventing them from living their best life. As a therapist, I listen to my clients and help them develop the tools they will need to build a strong foundation for personal growth, such as increased self esteem, problem solving skills and positive self talk. My experience and enthusiasm for helping youth, enables me to connect with my clients so that they may fully participate in the therapeutic process. I firmly believe that in order for therapy to be successful, we must work together to develop personal growth and build skills to support what already works.
