With the right tools and support, problems that appear giant can shrink down to a manageable size! Often, we are stressed because we feel overwhelmed and isolated. Counselling can help gently ground us in techniques that will take us step by step towards feelings of self-kindness, well-being, and strength. I specialize in healing from grief and loss, abuse or neglect in childhood, sexualized trauma, and violence. These life events are not your fault but can lead to sadness, anxiety, drug and alcohol use, self-harm or disordered eating, to name a few effects. There are ways to support ourselves and move toward health and strength, no matter what has happened! I also help clients navigate the justice system as survivors and witnesses.
