Bluebird Motel

After finding their website at http://www.bluebirdmotelinnisfail.ca, my husband and I (both retired) decided to book a room while visiting relatives in Innisfail. It should be noted, everything on their website is misrepresented at best. Very dirty motel including; mold, chipping paint, VERY unsanitary throughout not to mention the bathroom was dirty and smelled of urine. There were bugs and flies all over the place. The neighbor was a raving drunk who appeared at the door within 5 minutes bumming for cigarettes and change for a coffee. That’s just the tip of the ice berg.We decided not to stay so my husband went to book another hotel down the street. We couldn’t call out on the in room telephone because it didn’t work. So, I stayed in the room with our belongings. About 15 minutes after my husband left, a tall stringy East Indian man, claiming to be Joe the manager, showed up at our door offering me free rent in exchange for sexual favors. When my husband returned we left.
