I believe it is so important to everyone's health, happiness, and well-being to have access to caring and supportive guidance and advice to deal with the evolving challenges of our modern world. That is why I am offering counselling on a wide variety of issues and concerns from my private and comfortable home-based practice to ensure access to ongoing support through very competitive rates.
I am a social worker registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, which qualifies me to do many things, including providing therapy, social support, counselling, and life skills coaching. My blended personal and professional experience supporting others through gender-related issues, financial difficulties, mental health challenges, and many others equip me well to provide the impartial and supportive consultation needed to help individuals resolve issues they face. My areas of clinical specialty include relationships, abuse, mental health, gender and sexuality, and addiction. I am also a equipped to assist with a broad range of day-to-day concerns, including life skills, finances and crises. I am starting a home-based practice to be able to focus exclusively on one-on-one helping relationships. A home-based practice benefits you by removing almost all potential distractions and improves access through minimal overhead costs. My services are reimbursable by any insurance plans covering the services of a Registered Social Worker. I unfortunately have not yet established a consultational relationship with a clinical psychologist allowing for billing psychological services by way of the consulting clinical psychologist's license. While never compromising the professional standards of the practice of social work, I am proud to maintain a warm and welcoming environment for all.
