Description

It is believed that the rising smoke from a funeral pyre represents the ascent of the soul to a higher plane. It can be seen as honouring a natural cycle, reducing the body to ash and the elements of which it is composed.
FP Theatre brings performances that will break down plays to their natural elements, allowing them to be experienced fully, perhaps for the first time. A creation of artistic director, Liam Grunté, FP Theatre is in its second year. The company is based in London, Ontario and presents quality performances in London, Hamilton and surrounding area. FP Theatre is an informal not-for-profit organization - this means although we are not a corporation which has registered with the government for NFP status, all proceeds from plays and workshops are re-invested in furthering the same goals of the not-for-profit as outlined in our Mission Statement. MISSION STATEMENT FP Theatre will engage, entertain and challenge audiences with theatrical productions that range from classic productions to original works; we provide opportunities to theatrical artists to develop skills, and to showcase talents in the community.
