Monique is currently working as an Advisor/Coach to assist students/clients to understand the job search process and maximize their success in locating employment in their chosen fields. She also teaches Co-op and Career Preparation classes at the College and has facilitated numerous workshops to assist clients in Career exploration, career transitions, identifying professional skills and strengths, understanding how to use and understand labour market websites and trends to target potential employers and maximize job search techniques and tools to find interesting and sustainable employment.
Monique has been a Certified Professional Coach since 2009 and holds a Master's Degree specializing in Depth Psychology with a focus in the Development of the Personality, and works with clients one-on-one in private practice. Counselling and Coaching sessions are 1 hour in length and can deal with a variety of issues; personal growth, career transitions, life transitions, Employment counselling, setting and reaching personal and/or professional goals, identifying barriers to achieving goals, navigating professional work relationships,and learning to communicate more effectively to build stronger personal/professional relationships, to name a few.
