Life is beautiful...and it can also at times be very hard. My name is Lisa Frede, and I invite you to see if I can help you navigate some of what life has brought your way. I assist those who seek relief from the difficulties they encounter as they process, grieve, heal, grow, gain insights and develop ways of coping with events and problems that can sometimes feel overwhelming. Approaching each session with respect for your process, I support you through your experiences while providing a non-judgmental, safe, and nurturing environment.
With experience treating eating disorders, self-harm, anxiety, depression, codependency grief, and the impacts of sexual abuse, I have a particular interest in working with women and teens. Flexible appointment times are offered at two locations: Restorative Health on Vedder Rd in Chilliwack and a home office in Garrison. I have a background in both the public and private sector including a university counselling center, a Child and Youth Mental Health center and private practice.
