Description

I provide supportive humanistic therapy for clients who may suffer from depression, anxiety, panic attacks, early attachment disorders, developmental trauma, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and relational issues. I believe that behind each person's struggle, no matter how challenging, lies the potential for inner growth and renewal and that despair can be replaced by hope, inner peace and love and compassion for oneself and others. I am centrally located at Bloor & Avenue Road which provides street parking and is a 2-minute walk from the St. George subway station.
I have been practicing psychotherapy for over 15 years and have specialized in the treatment of trauma, depression, anxiety, attachment, and chronic pain. I have long recognized the strong link between previous trauma and how it manifests as depression, anxiety, panic as well as illness and pain within the body. I am passionate about the work I do and adjust my relational therapeutic technique to the needs of each individual. I am currently registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. As well, I am a member of the Canadian Counselling & Psychotherapy Association and the Ontario Society of Psychotherapists.
