Hindsight is a miraculous thing and a blessing at that. The day of our wedding was beautiful and a much needed affirmation that my blood, sweat and tears had finally reached its pinnacle. Our guests were dancing, our food was disappearing, the candy bar was empty and the atmosphere was exhilarating.
Despite how wonderful the day turned out, I wished that I would have had MORE TIME to enjoy the memories leading up to the big day. Juggling today's hustle and bustle alone can be enough to exhaust anyone; not to mention pulling a wedding together. Sad to say, that life just simply cannot be put on hold when you're planning a wedding. Between the tight deadlines, vendor conflicts, and endless errands; the feeling of tying up all the loose ends was overwhelming to say the least. Oh, and let's not forget the time it takes to gather guest list addresses, design invitations, personalize each envelope and lick stamps. -One detail every past bride will tell you, is how extremely stressful it is waiting impatiently for the RSVP's to arrive (while some never do). My love for web design and the need to simplify and enrich the experience of the pre-nuptial couple, is what began my journey creating Everything Evites. My vision was to combine modern technology, increasingly busy lifestyles and the inherent need for lasting and meaningful memories. I really wanted to reduce the demand on "planning couples" by merging technology with an innovative and "digital age" way of showcasing a couple's love. Through beautiful custom wed-sites and electronic invitations, we can keep tradition alive all while moving forward with the fast paced life we lead. At Everything Evites we also take great consideration for those who are unable to access the internet or have little to no knowledge of how to use a computer or smart phone.
