My name is Katie and I am a certified elementary teacher and experienced ESL teacher/tutor.I have over 4 years experience tutoring and teaching in South Korea, Dominican Republic, Halifax and Toronto. I am a very energetic, friendly and positive person. I love helping people learn and really enjoy learning about different cultures and sharing my own as well. I am currently tutoring elementary and junior high students in Mathematics and English. My main goal is to make learning fun, therefore I incorporate fun and engaging activities in each tutoring session. In regards to my ESL tutoring, I focus on teaching everyday expressions with particular attention to idioms and phrasal verbs. My goal is make you more comfortable with speaking English so you can gain the confidence you need to be successful in Canada. I am available during the day on weekdays as well as evenings. I am willing to meet at a local library or coffee shop or even at your home if you so desire. I offer special group rates if you have people interested in tutoring.
