Marcia Loder - Wedding Officiant

Description

It is my honour to have served as an Alberta Marriage Commissioner for eighteen years. During this time I have borne witness to incredible and enduring love stories that describe the journey of many people who request my services.
I worked in three Alberta public school systems for twenty-five years, and thoroughly enjoyed my time, when I was able to work in my area of specialization - music. Teaching French was a close second. Working as a real estate agent was my second career, until my retirement. During this period, I raised two incredible children. I am most thankful that I made this journey with the support of my best friend - someone who will always fill my heart with joy. My husband and I will celebrate our twenty-ninth wedding anniversary this August.
