At Heart and Mind Counselling Services, I specialize in equine assisted counselling.
By working in partnership with the horse(s), you can be assisted with all manner of counselling needs, e.g. from Trauma and subsequent struggles such as Anxiety, Depression and PTSD. I offer individual and family counselling, couples counselling, parent child/teen conflict counselling. I offer support for parents struggling with their child's or children's behaviours and offer a different perspective of assisting parents in making sense of their child or children. Working with the horse(s) is dependent on the weather as this takes place outside. Being able to combine my passion of horses with my other passion of supporting people through my work as a counsellor, in my opinion, makes me a very happy and content person. I have a BA Hons in Community Justice Studies. I am a registered Counsellor with two registering bodies. I have extensive training in a multitude of areas.
