For some, reaching out for help is a challenge. Ian Robertson, professional counsellor has adopted a brief therapeutic approach of being "solution focused" rather than "problem focused." It is our belief that by focusing on strengths and abilities, solutions to the challenging situation in peoples lives can be discovered. Ian Robertson provides services that strive to effectively meet the needs of individuals, couples and families in a compassionate, responsive, and timely manner. We provide specialty services for children, adolescents, adults and seniors. Our agency provides clinical services for mental health, addictions, trauma, grief and bereavement, couples and marital, anger and emotional regulation. Cognitive behavioural, dialectical behavioural, narrative, motivational interviewing, solution focused and brief therapy are all clinical approaches used by Ian Robertson.
