S.I.G Orthopaedics and Medical Services was founded by Galo Marcelo Orellana (Advanced Orthopaedic Technologist) in the year 2000. My vision was to create a service for individuals that require easy access to Orthopaedic custom bracing and high performance alternative rehabilitation support, for injured or preventative medical needs. As a notable provider of top therapy brands recommended by highly skilled medical physicians, my professionalism helps me distinguish between high quality brands with patients full recovery in mind.
Over the last 17 years, I have worked at Humber River Regional Hospital, Southlake Regional Hospital, Markham Stouffville Hospital, Hospital for Sick Kids,Toronto East General Hospital and currently at William Osler Health System and Trillium Health Centre. I have had the pleasure to work along side many great Orthopaedic Surgeons in the GTA area. With my diverse knowledge of quality care and experience I am able to proudly service patients in need within the hospital and home setting. As a committed board member of the C.S.O.T and assisting to develop the new curriculum at Westernvelt College, schedule to commence in 2015 for new graduates interested in the study of Orthopaedic Technology. I am proud to service in a timely manner, the highest quality products and continuous customer satisfaction. In assessing customers I am able to focus on the speedy recovery of my clients.
