Dr. Naheed Jawed is a Registered psychologist providing assessment and treatment services to adults in Airdrie and Calgary. Dr. Jawed's specializations are in Clinical and Forensic psychology and she has been practicing in the field of psychology for over 15 years.
Dr. Jawed's experience involves working with chronically mentally ill individuals, dually diagnosed individuals (those suffering from substance abuse and mental health issues), forensic clients, and those in the community outpatient arena. She has worked in the forensic environment providing psychological risk assessments and treatment to provincially and federally incarcerated inmates. Dr. Jawed also has extensive experience with work-related psychological injuries, providing substance abuse and fitness to work assessments, diagnostic and intellectual assessments, and immigration assessments related to mental health claims. Dr. Jawed provides both psychological assessment and treatment services. She is well versed in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Solution focussed therapy, Brief psychodynamic, and Interpersonal therapy among other schools of thought.
