Bensfort Bridge Resort is located on the Otonabee River, 12 km from Rice Lake, 8 km from Peterborough, and 145 km from Toronto. It became popular as a fishing camp in the late 1940's.
We are open May 5 to October 15. We are closed October 15 to May 5. The 2016 fishing season begins at Bensfort Bridge on May 14 with pickerel fishing south of the bridge. Muskie follows on June 4, and the Bass season comes in on June 18. Bensfort Bridge Resort stocks worms, an assortment of tackle and fishing licenses for your fishing convenience. Bensfort Bridge Resort offers a variety of camping choices. Cottages, tent and trailer sites, overnight or fully-serviced 30 amp seasonal sites. Canoes, boat motor and Pontoon rentals, boat docks up to 40 feet and boat launch. Gas and oil are also available. Whether you fish for pan fish or that trophy to hang on your wall, Bensfort Bridge Resort is the place to go.
