A beautiful, chique restaurant that is great to enjoy a meal or even a drink with friends. I recently visited Symposium for an afternoon lunch with a couple of friends and had a great time. We recieved great service, with our waiter being extremely friendly and personable. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, although I was a bit disappointed with their pizza. The dough tasted strongly of beer, so if you do not like the taste of beer I would not recommend ordering it. I must say that they have a great selection of desserts, including big slices of gourmet cakes, yum!
Symposium has a great atmosphere that is perfect for many occasions. From a casual breakfast with friends, to a night out for drinks with the girls, to a romantic setting. Their food is delicious and decent price. The only thing I don't really like here is their spinach dip. They have incredible coffee and espresso, their cakes are phenomenal (and really big slices), and they have great smoothies made from fresh fruit. I love how all the tables have couch-like chairs at the tables! The service here is really good and it is in a great location, right in the heart of Uptown Waterloo.
